In a significant step toward strengthening cross-border digital payment infrastructure, NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL) has expanded the reach of India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to Malaysia through a strategic partnership with Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet). The collaboration will enable seamless QR-based payment acceptance between the two countries, marking another milestone in UPI’s rapid global expansion.
