Indian aerospace components manufacturer JJG Aero has raised $30 million in a growth funding round led by Norwest Venture Partners, marking one of the larger private investments in the country’s precision engineering and aerospace manufacturing space this year.
The fresh capital is expected to be deployed towards expanding manufacturing capacity, upgrading advanced machining capabilities, and strengthening JJG Aero’s global customer footprint, according to people familiar with the matter. The company also plans to invest in automation, quality certifications, and talent to meet rising demand from global aircraft and defence original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
