The electric vehicle revolution in India just got a significant boost. Kazam, a Bengaluru-based EV charging infrastructure startup, has raised $6.2 million in its Series B round, led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Vertex Ventures, and Avaana Capital.
Founded in 2020 by Rahul Mehra and Karthik Rajesh, Kazam is on a mission to build India’s most reliable and accessible EV charging network. Their USP? A platform-agnostic SaaS system that enables businesses, governments, and fleet operators to manage charging stations in real-time, across brands and geographies.
