The draft of Delhi’s much-anticipated Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy 2.0 signals a decisive shift toward accelerating clean mobility in the national capital. Building on the success of its earlier framework, the Delhi Government is now proposing a more aggressive set of incentives and regulatory measures, including a full road tax exemption for electric cars priced up to ₹30 lakh and a phased ban on registrations of non-electric two-wheelers (non-E2Ws).
