India’s new-age startup ecosystem has opened 2026 with another high-profile liquidity event as adtech unicorn Amagi moved closer to its initial public offering (IPO). Ahead of the listing, secondary transactions linked to the IPO have allowed early and growth-stage investors to partially cash out, with Premji Invest pocketing close to INR 480 Cr, while global venture capital firm Accel is set to mint an estimated 3.3X return on its investment.
The transactions mark one of the most significant pre-IPO exits in India’s adtech space and signal growing confidence among public market investors in software-led, globally scaled Indian companies.
